My Purpose (and a Little Background)
Welcome to Small Business Southport.
My names Martin. I was born in Southport and, after a few decades exploring the world, I’m now back and looking to grow my small businesses.
As I’ve started out, I recognised that there’s a lot of us here working hard on our businesses yet we’re getting overwhelmed by all the work it takes to actually promote ourselves.
I’ve created this site to draw attention to the many small traders in Southport and to help you gain a presence online, to promote your services and to take away some of the burdens of the marketing.
This is my way to help out the community and to encourage joint-ventures, local co-operations and welcome new businesses as they get started.
This site is run on a voluntary basis, any money generates will be spent marketing the site and your businesses and covering my running costs.
For those of you who are not running your local business, I hope to be of value by providing a listing service that is personally curated by myself. It will prioritise local businesses that have been shown to promote the community, that have a great reputation and demonstrate a sincere focus on their customers.
