Alder Hey Children’s Hospital says it has now discharged all of its patients from the knife attack in Southport.
Three young girls – Bebe King, six; Elsie Dot Stancombe, seven; and Alice Dasilva Aguiar, nine – were tragically killed in the horrific attack at a dance and yoga class at the Hart Space last Monday. Merseyside Police last week said that a further two adults and eight children were also injured in the attack, having suffered stab wounds. Of those, five children were in critical condition.
Yesterday, the BBC reported that only patient remained being in hospital and Alder Hey today confirmed that it has discharged all of its patients.
A spokesperson said: “We are really pleased to be able to share that all the children involved in last Monday’s awful incident in Southport who were under our care have now been safely discharged home from Alder Hey.
